392-powered Wrangler Rubicon pricing

We don’t know the final price of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, with its 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque; but we do know the price of the Launch Edition. That has the 6.4-liter V-8, full-time 4×4, functional hood scoop, dual-mode performance exhaust, and many standard features; and it will cost $73,500, plus $1,495 destination in the Lower 48. Buyers get a 0-60 time of just 4.5 seconds, making these by far the fastest Wranglers ever made—not really a tough competition, for the most part, since the CJ and Wrangler have not been known as quarter-mile champs. The quickest ones have been the current models, with their eight-speed automatics and state-of-the-art engines.

The Launch Edition includes all the usual Rubicon 392 gear, along with standard leather, body-color hardtop and flares, infotainment group, heavy duty electrical switch bank, steel bumpers, cold weather group, LED lighting, remote proximity entry, safety group, and advanced safety group. With all that gear, it might actually be a good deal; and it suggests that the “ordinary” 392 will be considerably cheaper.

Options on the Launch Edition are Dual Door Group, Dual Top Group, Sky One-Touch Power Top and Integrated Off-road Camera, Trailer Tow Package and 285/70R17C BF Goodrich KO2 All-Terrain Outline White Letter or 285/70R17C Falken Wildpeak M/T tires.
