Dodge will issue a list of the first 100 Power Broker dealerships on December 15, 2021, but as some of the first dealerships to be accepted into the program have been notified, they have made their own announcements on social media. As a result, we have an early look at a few of the Dodge dealerships which will be able to order Direct Connection performance parts when that program begins later this year.
The Official Dodge Statement
After seeing a few people post on social media about the dealerships where they work being approved for the Power Broker program, I reached out to Dodge for official word. As mentioned above, the brand plans to issue the list of the 100 high performance dealerships next month.
“The Dodge Power Brokers program will launch with approximately 100 dealers in the network, and that number will grow in 2022, said a Dodge representative. “A complete list of the first 100 Dodge Power Brokers dealers will be made available at launch on Dec. 15, 2021, so stay tuned.”
We expect that along with the list of the first hundred Power Broker dealerships, we will get our first good look at the Direct Connection performance program – which will be offered at the Power Broker dealerships. Of course, Power Broker dealerships won’t just offer the Direct Connection performance parts, they will also have people in both sales and service who are experts in all things modern Mopar performance.
First Power Broker Dealerships
So far, we are aware of two Power Broker dealerships, both of which happen to be on the East Coast of the United States. This includes Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Virginia Beach and Waldorf Dodge Ram in Maryland. Those of you who buy parts for your modern Mopars online and who shop for the best prices likely know Waldorf Dodge for their parts business – East Coast Moparts.
East Coast Moparts offers great pricing on OEM parts, but they also offer some aftermarket items such as Legmarker intakes and Z Automotive electronics, as well as apparel for the Modern Street Hemi Shootout. As a result, they are one of the best-known dealership-based parts providers in the modern Mopar social media community, making them a perfect choice to be one of the first Power Broker dealers.
I imagine that there are many others, but with both of these dealership groups being sponsors of the Modern Street Hemi Shootout, there were posts in the series Facebook group about their Power Broker status. If you work for a dealership that has been approved as one of the first 100 Power Brokers, send me a message on Facebook with the dealership name and location and I will add that information to this piece.
