Jeep Debuting an All-Electric Wrangler in Moab

The Jeep spot featuring Bruce Springsteen was one of the more popular commercials during this past weekend’s Super Bowl broadcast, but the biggest news from the Jeep brand wasn’t actually mentioned in that video at all. However, at the end of the commercial, there is a website link shared that ends with “The Road Ahead”. When you visit that link, it takes you to a dedicated website page which showcases the future plans of the Trail Rated brand.

On The Road Ahead portion of the Jeep website, there is information on the new Grand Cherokee L, the new Wagoneer and the Wrangler 4xe, but we knew about all of those. As you scroll a bit further down, you will find three slides – one showing the silhouette of the Grand Cherokee 4xe, one showing a Jeep solar charging station and one showing a tease of the all-electric Jeep Wrangler. When you click on the slide for the electric Wrangler, a short animation clip begins, revealing the key aspects of the electric drive system.

Most importantly, the slide showing the all-electric Wrangler states that this concept vehicle will be introduced at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. That event was canceled in 2020 and it was initially canceled for 2021, but reports out of Utah claim that local restrictions could be lifted later this week, which would allow the event to take place later this year.
