Earlier this month, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe finished first and second in the 2021 Rebelle Rally, proving that the hybrid model doesn’t come with any sort of compromise in off-road performance. Seeing as how the 4xe has proven itself as an excellent off-roader time and time again, the Mopar team is using SEMA 2021 to showcase their aftermarket upgrades on the hybrid SUV. It is simply called the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept and, like the rest of the 4xe lineup, it looks like any other modified JL – just with the ability to drive on all-electric power.
Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept Exterior
The upgrades made to this Wrangler 4xe begin on the outside, where the build team has added a Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) stamped steel front bumper, a JPP Gorilla Glass windshield, 5-inch off-road lights on each A-pillar, a unique driver’s side A-pillar light mount that doesn’t interfere with the charging port, JPP tube doors, JPP rock rails, a JPP Swing Gate Hinge Reinforcement, a JPP Center High-Mount Stop Lamp Relocation Kit and an array of custom graphics on the Ivory Pearl body.
Katzkin Interior
Headed inside the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept, we find sharp looking Katzkin custom leather seats in Mopar Blue, along with a concept three-piece floor covering that allows for easy draining and cleaning, a concept instrument panel accessory rail system, stainless-steel pedal covers and door-grab handles.
In the rear-most portion of the cabin, this Wrangler 4xe features a custom trail-rail management system, a custom on-board air compressor and the JPP swing-gate flip-down table.
Improved Performance
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe has already proven that it is the most capable hybrid on the road today, but the Mopar team added an array of simple upgrades that make this vehicle ever more unstoppable. This includes a 2-inch lift kit that was designed specifically for the 4xe package, which makes room for the 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 off-road tires on beadlock JPP wheels.
Finally, this Wrangler has LED lights in the underbody, allowing a spotter to get a better look at the terrain when off-roading in lower light – helping to protect the vehicle and improve the off-roading experience.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept will be on display in the Mopar area of the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, running from November 2nd through the 5th.
