Ram Introduces the Final Built to Serve Edition Package

Today, the Ram Truck brand introduced the fifth and final Built to Serve edition Ram 1500 pickup. This final installation in the military-themed lineup is designed to pay tribute to the United States Coast Guard, with these trucks being offered in Spitfire (orange) or Bright White.

“We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our armed forces and the brave men and women who serve them. These Built to Serve models are just one way we honor those who have selflessly served our country,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “Whether civilian or military, Ram truck owners are very familiar with this adage as it’s something we strive to build into every truck and van we produce.”

Like the four previous packages, the newest Built to Serve package for the Ram 1500 is available on all body styles and with every powertrain option. Predominantly an appearance package, the Built to Serve Rams come with unique paint codes, an American flag and package-specific badging on the exterior, along with body colored wheel flares and 20-inch wheels in a unique Technical Gray finish. Other exterior appointments include a black grille, black bumpers, black lighting bezels, black badging, black side steps and black four inch exhaust tips.

On the inside, the Built to Serve trucks allow the owner to show their military pride with embroidered Velcro panels on the front seats, which are intended to hold branch-specific patches. On the front seat-backs, the Pouch Attachment Ladder System/Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment (PALS/MOLLE) setup frees up more storage space. There is also an optional locking console box, sport seats, Black Onyx Chrome interior trim and all-weather slush mats.
