Chrysler charging into NY’s Electrify Expo

The Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, is hosting the Electrify Expo on August 27-28. A fleet of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrids will charge up the event, which will also have a large Chrysler-brand display.

While Chrysler’s sole electrified car is a plug-in hybrid minivan (in fairness, the world’s first hybrid minivan), the old Chrysler Corporation produced the world’s first, and so far the world’s only, fully electric minivans. Pure battery-electric vehicle buyers may have to wait until late 2024 to see a more complete range of Chryslers, though.

  1. Just a small correction. Nassau Colliseum is not in New York City but suburban Nassau County on Long Island. It’s relative close to NYC location may fool outsiders, but it is a far different place in demographics, lifestyle and their current Republican dominated county government differs greatly from its neighbor. Generally a small oversight, but for Long Islanders, worlds apart and notable.
