This afternoon, Dodge introduced the 2023 Challenger Swinger and Charger Swinger. These new models are the 3rd and 4th vehicles to join the 2023 Last Call lineup, following the Challenger Shakedown and the Charger Super Bee. As expected, the Swinger package is mostly aesthetic, but these are fairly elaborate appearance packages, adding unique cues inside and out.
“The name says it all – the originals had a unique, fun character, and that’s the same reaction we’re hoping for with our 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger models,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “Dodge Swinger models have always held a unique spot in the Dodge muscle-car pantheon, and these modern-day models bring that fun back to life.”
The 2023 Challenger and Charger Swinger models are based on the R/T Scat Pack Widebody form of each muscle car, meaning that they come with the 392 cubic inch Hemi, packing 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. That power is sent to the rear wheels by means of a quick-shifting ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Challenger Scat Pack Swinger package includes the following features:
Challenger Scat Pack Plus Group
Shaker Package
Gold School Challenger grille badge
Gold School R/T Widebody grille badge
Gold School painted Shaker intake
Gold School Scat Pack + Bee spoiler badge
Gold School Bee fender badges
Retro Swinger rear fender graphics
20-by-11-inch Gold School wheels
Black six-piston Brembo brakes
Mod Grain wood-like aluminum interior bezel textures
Nappa/Alcantara seats with green stitching and green Dodge Rhombi logo

The Charger Scat Pack Swinger is similar, including the following features:

The Challenger and Charger Swinger packages will be offered in F8 Green, Sublime Green or White Knuckle.
Dodge will built 1,000 examples each of the Charger Swinger and Challenger Swinger, but as is the case with all of the 2023 Last Call models, dealerships will not be able to order these cars. The company will build them on their own internal production schedule and ship them to pre-selected dealerships. Hopeful buyers will be able to check the location of the Charger and Challenger Swinger models – and the other Last Call models – on Dodge Garage later this year. The pricing for these packages will be announced closer to the time when they begin arriving at dealerships.

The next 2023 Last Call model is expected to be introduced on September 14th, with the next coming on the 21st. Based on the covered teaser cars at Dodge Speed Week, the 14th is likely a Charger Redeye and the 21st is likely a Challenger Redeye.
