Orders have just officially opened for the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T and Charger Daytona Scat Pack, 400V battery-powered large muscle cars with 496 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque in the R/T and 670 hp and 627 lb-ft in the Scat Pack.
Both include $600 in charging-station credits with Free2Move or an at-home Level 2 charging station, not including installation. Both cars qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit when leased. The cars come with a pre-installed Mopar stage kit to build higher performance than ordinary Charger Daytonas.
Buyers (at certified dealerships) of Chargers ordered by October 31, 2024, including Chargers ordered by dealers for stock, get a package with a First Call welcome kit (letter of authenticity, Dodge-branded leather driving gloves, and “more”), two days of performance driving instruction at the Radford Racing School in Arizona, and a concierge to help with customer needs including scheduling their Radford experience.
The Horsepower Locator Tool at DodgeGarage.com helps customers to find certified dealerships and shows available cars. The site has had a live configuration tool for around a week.

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest, most comprehensive Mopar site in 1994 as he pursued a career in organizational research and change. After a chemo-induced break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales.
David Zatz has around 30 years of experience in covering Chrysler/Mopar news and history, and most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the Chrysler marque.
