A week ago, we were the first outlet to announce that 2024 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge would be moving back to the M1 Concourse road racing facility and the date of the event was August 10th. Today, the brand has made all of that information official, but more importantly, Dodge has announced that registration is now open for Roadkill 2024.
For those hoping to score a free Dodge Cruise-In Ticket, click here to head to the Motor Trend website to reserve your spot now – they sell out and they usually do so pretty quickly.
Update: Dodge Cruise-In tickets sold out sometime between 12:20 and 12:30pm. I spoke with someone who registered for Dodge Cruise-In around 12:20 and when I checked again at 12:30, they were sold out. Congrats to those who managed to get a spot this year!
As it generally the case, there are a handful of ticket options for 2024 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge. As mentioned above, there are the Dodge Cruise-In tickets that are free to a limited number of people and they sell out quickly, but if you don’t get in on that free program, you can buy a Cruise-In ticket for $160. That price gets you a parking spot inside of the M1 Concourse, admission for two adults and admission for as many kids under 12 that you can fit in your vehicle. The Dodge Cruise-In tickets also include entry for two adults, unlimited kids and parking inside, for those wondering.
General Admission for Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge costs $25 for adults, but it is free for any kids under 12 who are with an adult. General Admission is also free for residents of Pontiac, where the event is held. This ticket gets you into the venue, but it does not get you a seat in the bleachers to watch the racing. That ticket costs $60 and kids cannot sit in the bleachers for free.
The first VIP ticket option is the Roadkill Fan Package with Reserved Bleacher Seating, which costs $150. That includes admission for 1 adult, access to the reserved bleacher seating area and a “fan package”, which consists of a Limited Edition Roadkill Nights bag, a Roadkill Nights Stanley Mug, a Roadkill nights Koozie and a Sticker Package.
For those high roller Roadkill fans, there is also the $495 Ultimate Package. This package includes admission for two adults, access to the VIP bleacher area for two adults, access to the VIP restrooms, two VIP passes for the Dodge Thrill Rides, commemorative credential, two of the fan packages mentioned above, two Roadkill Night hats and VIP parking near the venue.

If you are a racer who wants to take a shot at the Small Tire or Big Tire street racing classes, you have to apply first. The event organizers will select all of the racers in the field and those who are selected will pay $160 to register to race, but only after they have been selected to compete. Each of those two classes pays $5,000 to the winner, $1,500 to the runner-up, $750 to the semifinalists and $500 to the quarterfinalists, and also within those two classes, the Fastest Dodge will win $5,000. If the Fastest Dodge also wins one of the racing classes, that driver would take home $10,000.

In addition to the move back to the M1 Concourse, a key difference from last year’s event is that there is no mention of a musical performer, but it seems unlikely that Dodge could appropriately follow-up last year’s performance by Ice Cube. As we mentioned before, this year’s Grudge Match will feature Hurricane-powered machines rather than Hemi-powered machines and in the latest press release, we learned that Mike Musto will be joining the Grudge Match with his Hurricane-powered Dodge Hornet.
