How much can Ram charge for the Ram 1500 REV? New prices from General Motors suggest the company can charge quite a bit, since the 2025 Silverado EV will be priced at a premium. The base price for the EV work truck is $57,095, according to yesterday’s Chevrolet release; the Work Truck is only sold to commercial buyers this year but for 2025 it will be released to anyone. Its power ratings are 510 hp and 580 lb-ft, a bit more than Ram’s Hurricane High Output engine.
Buyers wanting an EPA estimated 422 miles will have to up their spend to nearly $70,000; the maximum range of 492 miles will come in at $78,000.
The LT and RST versions will not be sold with a range below 390 miles. The LT is to sell at $75,195 with a 408 mile range; the LT Premium Package drops range to 490 miles and raises the price to $82,000. The RST starts at just under $90,000 (390 miles) and tops out at $98,000 for the 460-mile max range model. If these prices seem high, consider that with the Wide Open Watts mode, the motors are good for 645 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. That approaches TRX Hellcat power.
The RST is rated at 760 hp and 785 lb-ft, higher than the TRX Hellcat though lower than the Hellcat Widebody Challengers.
The LT trim for the Silverado EV will be new for 2025. The LT comes with standard 300 kW DC fast charging from public chargers, 18-inch wheels, an 18-inch center screen and 11-inch driver center, 12,500 lb of towing capacity, 1,800 lb payload, and multi-flex tailgate. The Premium Package adds a flexible midgate and 22-inch wheels. All the Silverado EVs have torque vectoring and twin-motor four wheel drive.
