Braun, an aftermarket company, is recalling 44 Chrysler minivans sold in the United States under the Pacifica and Voyager names because the seat limiter may not have been included, so that owners may be too close to the airbags. Some more minivans outside the US are likely recalled as well. This only affects minivans which Braun has modified for handicap accessibility.
More people are affected by a 2017-18 recall of Ram heavy duty pickups and chassis cabs; the antilock brake/traction control computer may fail, so that customers lose those features.
General Motors, in a parallel but different recall, are bringing back heavy duty 2024 Silverado and Sierra pickups for tailgates that can open while driving.
Other recalls include fuel leaks on 2023-25 Passports on Pilots, possibly causing a fire; Audi A7 and Q5 high-voltage batteries which can overheat and cause a fire; and flickering headlights on the 2024 Tesla Model X which will probably not cause a fire.

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest, most comprehensive Mopar site in 1994 as he pursued a career in organizational research and change. After a chemo-induced break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales.
David Zatz has around 30 years of experience in covering Chrysler/Mopar news and history, and most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the Chrysler marque.
