Jeep's Jim Morrison and Wagoneer

Jim Morrison, a lifelong Jeeper and courageous off-road driver, ran Jeep North America from 2019 to the end of 2023; he was then put in charge of Jeep Performance Parts, while Maserati’s North American chief, William Peffer, took over Jeep North America.

Morrison started at Chrysler in 1995, as the company was rising to record profitability. He was in charge of Ram from 2016 to 2019.

Jeep was run on a global level by Christian Meunier from 2019 to late 2023, when he was replaced by Antonio Filosa, possibly due to an American sales drop dating to 2018.

Jim Morrison has “walked the walk” by modifying his own Jeeps and showing strong off-roading skills. Being a passenger with Morrison at the wheel was an adventure.
