Mercedes dominating recalls; Jeep has just one

Mercedes is dominating the recall list this week, starting with bad welds on the engine carrier on the 2024 GLC 300 and AMG GLC43. The 2019-22 AMG G63 and G550 may have bad rear door latches which let the doors swing open while driving, too. Numerous Daimler trucks may lose their brake lights, a warning to cars following recent Freightliners and Western Star trucks.

GM had two recalls, one for flickering headlights on the 2024 Canyon and one for failing low brake fluid warnings on the 2023-24 Escalade/ESV, Silverado 1500, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Sierra 1500, and Yukon/XL. Oddly Ford also came in with light flicker on the 2022 F-150, this time for parking lights; and their rear cameras may freeze on the 2022-24 Maverick.

Stellantis had two recalls, one for rear camera and brake light failures on the 2018-24 Wrangler, and one for stalls on the 2024 Maserati Granturismo and Grancabrio.

Jaguar Land Rover had rearview camera failures on the 2024 F-Pace and on pretty much all 2024 Land Rovers and Range Rovers.

Finally, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson is missing a warning label and the 2024 Kia EV9 has “remote smart parking assist failure.”
