Stellantis’ head of software has left

Stellantis’ Chief Software Business Growth Officer has left the company, according to Crain’s Detroit. She was in charge of “augmenting our brands with software experiences,” and had been in the job for three and a half years. Before that she was chief digital information officer for FCA for around two years. FCA had hired her from ZF Group/ZF TRW, where she had been the chief digital officer and chief information officer for around five years; before that, she was CIO at Consumers Energy for around four years.

Ironically, she started out at Chrysler IT in 1996, staying on at DaimlerChrysler and then Daimler and then Daimler Financial through 2010.

Her job was to create profits from vehicle software, such as navigation and other services; she was unlikely to have been responsible for software gaffes in the Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet.
