The Dodge brand announced this morning that the 10th installation of the popular Roadkill Nights automotive festival will be held on August 9th, 2025. There is no indication as to where the event will be held this year, but we know for sure that the day of high performance fun built around the drag racing program. Look for more details, including the location and registration information, sometime in June.
If you have not been to Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge, it is a hell of a good time. For most of the years that it has been held, the main attraction was the legal street racing program that was held on Woodward Avenue. For the first year, the racing program was held in a parking lot in the old Pontiac Silverdome and last year, the city of Pontiac was being uncooperative, so the racing had to be moved onto the straightaway of the M1 Concourse road racing facility. We know that this year’s event will be somewhere in Metro Detroit, but we don’t know when.
“Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge is marking a decade for one reason, and that’s the fans and the Dodge enthusiasts who have come out by the thousands and supported Roadkill Nights since it was a grassroots event in the parking lot of the Silverdome,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “Each edition of the event gets bigger and better and, knowing what we have planned, the 10th year will be the best year yet.”
In addition to the open racing program which awards overall winners and the Top Dodge finishers in each class, there is also a Grudge Racing program that usually includes a collection of social media influencers, and we can expect more of that for 2025. There will also be a huge car show, thrill rides in the new Dodge Charger Daytona EV, Dodge brand displays and plenty of food trucks.
