On seeing the Chrysler 100th anniversary Pacifica, which is a decal and options package (below), Allpar member CudaPete suggested a number of possible additions. These would, he felt, make the special 2026 Pacifica Select more worthy of celebrating the 1924 Chrysler B-70 and the many cars that followed it.
The 2026 Pacifica above has a small decal to show that Maxwell Motors was purchased by the Chrysler Corporation holding company in June 1925; 2026 is a century after that minor corporate change.
CudaPete suggested a longer list of updates, starting with laser etching for the logo. These were putting a decal on the hood where the winged radiator cap would be, a pinstripe with the 100 integrated, and maybe even bringing back the Town & Country name to make it the TC100 (matching B70). The mirrors could be white with swept-back wing graphics. He jokingly suggested that woodgrain appliqués “wood sell.∏
Suzq044, longtime Allpar renderer and contributor, felt a greater effect could be made with carefully targeted additions, as seen above and below. In her rendering, the decal is less obviously tacked on, and there is a pinstripe ending with the Chrysler logo (seen more clearly in the detail photo below). Her thought was that buyers could select one or the other. The result would be close in cost to what the company actually produced, and could be added to mainstream 2025 models instead of being an add-on to the Select.
This would be more of a celebration of Chrysler’s centennial, and it’s not too late for Chrysler to follow an owner/enthusiast’s lead—or to surprise people with something more in keeping with a full century of history.
