The first week of June starts with a recall list dominated by Mercedes models from 2021 to 2023, as a common fuel pump could shut down and take the engine with it on a huge variety of models. This includes Sprinter and Metris vans as well as various AMG and Mercedes retail vehicles. While we’re in Germany, Porsche also reported in with recalls on a variety of 2016-2020 Macans and Panameras whose seat belt anchors may come loose; and 2022-23 911 GT3s whose dual center-mounted brake lights can both light up, confusing other drivers. According to AutoForecast Solutions’ Sam Fiorani, the 2025 Dodge Challenger will start rolling off the assembly lines faster than many had predicted—and it will be coming from a new home at the historic (but quite modern) Windsor, Ontario assembly plant. In addition, a new crossover for Chrysler is slated for the same plant.

All modern Challengers and Chargers have, until now, come off the assembly lines at Brampton, an Ontario facility created by American Motors not long before the Chrysler deal.

The new 2024 Jeep® Wrangler is being upgraded for 2024 with new capability, safety, and technology features…. For 2024, Jeep is adding its first full-float Dana 44D rear axle, an optional 100:1 crawl ratio, Warn winch, and increased 5,000-pound towing capability. These features were not included in the rumor posted at Stellpower last month. Jim Morrison, head of Jeep North America and a long-time “true Jeeper,” said that the full-flat rear axle makes it easier to upsize the tires, a common owner upgrade. Indeed, Wrangler customers often installed heavy-duty full-float rear axles already; now they can be installed at the factory, albeit only on the Rubicon.
