Dodge Charger Daytona BEV Sedan Coming in 2025

This morning, Dodge took the wraps off of the 2024 and 2025 Charger Daytona BEV and the gasoline-powered Charger Six Pack. Like the SRT Banshee Concept car from 2022, the first new Dodge Charger Daytona BEV coming in “mid-2024” will be a two-door coupe, but starting in the first quarter of 2025, the company will begin offering a four-door sedan version of the first battery electric muscle car.

Right now, the company is focusing most of their efforts on the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona two-door, so the only detailed specifications pertain to that coupe, but at the media preview last week, we did get some details on the four-door sedan. There are also a few pictures of the 2025 Charger Daytona sedan, so we have a good idea of what to expect when the four-door comes to market next year.

The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack (shown in Bludicrous) and Dodge Charger Daytona R/T (shown in Peel Out) represent the first–ever all-electric vehicles from the Dodge brand.

First and foremost, we know that the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona sedan will feature the same trim levels and drivetrain options as the coupe. That means that the Charger Daytona R/T sedan will come with dual motor setup delivering 340 kW (456 horsepower), with the Direct Connection Stage 1 kit leading to 370 kW (496 hp) and the Stage 2 kit offering 400 kW (536 hp). For the Charger Daytona Scat Pack sedan, 440 kW (590 hp) comes standard, with the DC Stage 1 kit yielding 470 kW (630 hp) and Stage 2 leading to 500 kW or 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The company has not announced the official torque figures for the R/T 340 or 400 models, or the Scat Pack 440 or 470 models.

The Dodge Charger Daytona sedan in R/T and Scat Pack trim are both powered by a 400V system with a 100.5 kW battery and a pair of electric drive modules – one at each axle – that can deliver up to 670 combined horsepower via an advanced all-wheel-drive system. We expect that the BEV sedan will also feature the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust with varying volume levels and a stealth setting for those who don’t enjoy the unique roar.

All-electric, all-wheel-drive Dodge Charger Daytona

We don’t have official performance numbers such as 0-60 or quarter mile times for the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona sedan, but we expect those times to be very similar to the numbers for the coupe. We don’t have full specifications for the sedan, but we do know that the sedan and coupe share a common wheelbase, so we don’t expect the four-door models to be dramatically heavier than the two-door coupes. In any case, we can expect the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2 sedan to sprint from a stop to 60 mph in the low-ish 3-second range.
