Jeep has dropped a small group of photos of the 2025 Wagoneer S, the upcoming STLA Large electric car. While it’s around a foot shorter (bumper to bumper) than the normal Wagoneer, some expected interior space to be similar because much less space is needed for the hood, with no room for a 392 V8 or twin-turbo straight six. However, it appears that just as much room is being reserved for the hood—space which will presumably be at least partly available for cargo.
The apparently-production-intent car in the images looks somewhat different from the concept car. It also has the marque (Jeep) on a badge, though Wagoneer is a sub-brand.
Inside is a McIntosh sound system, most likely either optional or standard on the top models; it will have 19 speakers and remains exclusive to Jeep.
The ambient lighting is color selectable. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof is standard. The grille is LED-lit and “reimagined.” 0-60 times are expected to be around 3.5 seconds, thanks to 600 hp from the motors. Every Wagoneer S will have “4xe capability” (all wheel drive with SelecTerrain™). The terrain can be selected by a knob (below).
The press release gushes, “Mindful materials and design-focused features include a tailored driver control center with a unique Jeep brand-exclusive Selec-Terrain toggle and dynamic, color-selectable ambient lighting. The Jeep Wagoneer S will also feature a standard dual-pane panoramic sunroof and, expanding the Jeep brand’s exclusive collaboration with McIntosh, will offer a discerningly tuned, segment-exclusive, 19-speaker, premium flagship McIntosh audio system.”
Wagoneer goes into production this year, at either the Toluca, Mexico or Windsor, Ontario plant.
