The Dodge Charger Daytona is tuned for muscle car feel, including PowerShot, which adds 40 horsepower for 10 seconds on demand. Drive modes include Track, Drag, Race, Custom, and even Drift/Donut. Ward’s judge Drew Winter wrote, “The powertrain in the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack helps reimagine what an electric vehicle can be. There are a lot of impressive electric propulsion systems in the marketplace today, but none can match this one’s presence and personality, thanks to the sheer audacity of its engineers.”

For 2026, the Track Package is free-standing, dropping the Scat Pack’s price to $59,995, where it sits as the highest-power car for that price. The 550-horsepower gasoline Scat Pack will start at just under $55,000. The Scat Packs will both have two or four doors.

This is the ninth consecutive year Stellantis has had a propulsion system in the Top Ten; the company and its predecessors have landed on the list in 25 of its 31 years. The new Dodge Charger Daytona has also won a Ward’s 10 Best Interior and UX (user interface) Systems award.
