Roadkill Nights Returns to Downtown Pontiac for 2025

Dodge announced this morning that Roadkill Nights 2025 will be moving back to Downtown Pontiac, to the same location where the RKN 2023 was held, and tickets for the August 9th event are available online now. We also have our first details of the 2025 Grudge Match and a new contest that will allow two people to have an incredible (and free) experience at Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge.

Before getting into the details, I want to point out that tickets sales have opened and that includes the free Dodge Cruise-In tickets, which are limited and run out quickly. If you want to show your Dodge at Roadkill Nights for free, I suggest that you click here to get your tickets before reading the rest of this article.

Now that you have the ticket information, onto the event details.

We know now that 2025 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge will be held at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Pike Street in Downtown Pontiac. The RKN 2023 was held at this location, but today’s announcement states that this location will feature and enlarged footprint – hopefully including the car show area within the event grounds to prevent spectators from having to go through security multiple times. Of course, the racing will take place on Woodward Avenue.

“Dodge is bringing street-legal drag racing back to where it belongs during our iconic Roadkill Nights Powered Dodge event, and that’s right on Woodward Avenue,” said Dodge CEO Matt McAlear. “We are marking a decade of partnering with MotorTrend on our premier event by returning to Pontiac’s downtown district, where the community can really experience Dodge performance with our new product reveals, thrill rides, drag racing, a massive car show, manufacturers midway and more.”

Next, we have the details of this year’s Grudge Match, including the competitors. This year, the Grudge Match is using outlaw rules, so there are very few rules – mostly just that racers use the Hurricane inline-six engine. They are even allowed to use non-Dodge and non-Mopar models, and we have listed the racers and their vehicles below.

Demi Bagby: 24-year-old Bagby is an athlete whose passions include sports, fitness, racing and philanthropy, and her love for all things automotive has skyrocketed over the years. Bagby will battle in a 1987 Grand National and join the other four rookies in trying to take down defending champ Morgan Evans

Garrett Dobbs: Dobbs’ true passion lives at the drag strip. He’s the proud owner, mechanic and racer of a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Dobbs brings grit and precision to every part of racing and will compete in a 2005 Dodge Magnum

Morgan Evans: Defending Grudge Race champion Evans grew up at the track and in the shop, and her passion for cars still fuels everything she does. A metal artist, rusty truck enthusiast and content creator, Evans will seek to repeat in her 1987 Dodge D150 truck

Hooligan Brothers: Hooligan Brothers, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a group of four “hooligans” who love anything about going fast, sideways or airborne, including the 1991 Fox Body Mustang the group will bring to Roadkill Nights

Deshown Luckey: Known as boostedluckey, the 26-year-old automotive enthusiast, content creator and proud family man will compete in a Direct Connection-modified 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

John O’Malley: O’Malley, a born racer who grew up competing in motocross and snowcross professionally, runs BoostedMotorsports and is known for swapping SRT Hellcat engines into many vehicles; he’ll race a 2000 Dodge Viper at Roadkill Nights

Finally, as mentioned above, tickets for 2025 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge are on sale now. General spectator admission starts at $25 per person and that gets you in the doors. The Roadkill Fan Pack costs $80 and includes one admission along with the Roadkill Fan Package – a cinch bag, hat, pin and decal. The Club Zone Adult ticket is $125 and includes one admission, access to the Club Zone with a VIP viewing platform, a food voucher and a drink ticket. Cruise-In tickets are $125 and include admission for two adults and any kids under 12 and dedicated parking inside of the facility. Finally, the Ultimate Club Zone ticket costs $495 and this includes admission for two people with food vouchers and drink tickets for each, two of the fan packages mentioned above except with a backpack rather than a cinch bag, VIP Dodge Fast Passes for the thrill rides and access to the VIP viewing area.
