The Ultimate Muscle Car Experience will send one DodgeGarage.com member to Radford Racing School, located near Phoenix, to hone their driving skills through high-performance training with Radford professional driving instructors.”
Day one of the program teaches the fundamentals of high performance driving on the autocross course and on the road course with lead-and-follow exercises. In some driving education programs, lead-and-follow exercises prevent the students from going “too fast”, but having been to Radford 4 times now, their lead-and-follow setup is more like “keep up with the instructor”. It really is a great time on a track that caters to learning while going fast.
Day two focuses on drag racing, starting with a session that includes seven 8th-mile passes. Students can expect to get into the low-7-second range with the Charger Daytona Scat Pack, based on my own experiences at Radford.
The Dodge Ultimate Muscle Car Experience Sweepstakes officially began at 11am this morning and the entry phase will run through November 2nd. The winner will be randomly selected and notified by November 7th. The winner will then have a year to schedule their two-day program at Radford Racing School.
