Stella turning corner with higher deliveries in NA, EMEA

Stellantis reported 13% higher shipments, overall, in the third quarter of 2025 (July, August, and September), compared with Q3 2024. North America had a 35% gain, staying the second highest-volume region with 403,000 vehicles shipping.

Shipments means vehicles delivered to dealers, distributors, or retail and fleet customers, which result in revenue.

The company wrote that “This significant improvement primarily reflects the benefits of normalized inventory dynamics, in comparison to the prior year’s inventory reduction initiative, which temporarily reduced production,” which appears to mean that last year’s numbers were low because they were trying to drop inventories at dealers.

European sales went up by 8%, to 534,000, largely by four new “Smart Cars”—the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, the Opel Frontera, and the Fiat Grande Panda, which are all new since Q3 2024. They did lose some van volume.

The third strongest region was South America, which had 252,000 deliveries, down by 7,000 (3%) from the same quarter last year, because that quarter included replacement of vehicles lost in flooding.

The Middle East and Africa grew by 21%, to 94,000, largely due to increases in local Fiat production in Algeria, and expansion in Türkiye (Turkey) and Egypt. Asia-Pacific, including India and China, rose by 7% but only to 15,000.

Finally, Maserati deliveries dropped again, by 19%, to just about 1,700.
