In two separate news briefs posted within a few minutes of each other, Jeep (or as it calls itself, “the Jeep® Brand”) announced that it would take up to $500 in monopoly money towards a new 2025 Grand Cherokee. Dealers don’t actually take the game money; they inspect and return it, as part of a deal with Hasbro. Customers taking advantage of the deal can also win one of ten 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4s.
There are around 2,600 Jeep dealers in the United States. The program appears to be US-only.
The press release confusingly includes a paragraph on a deal with McDonald’s as well, requiring customers to have a McDonald’s app for a second chance at a 2026 Grand Cherokee. Rules are here. No purchase is needed, and purchases do not increase the odds of winning.
Those already owning a Jeep may be happy to learn that the Badge of Honor program, which encourages owners to actually take their off-road vehicles off-road, has been expanded with new trails. The press release noted that:
The Jeep Badge of Honor program allows Jeep owners to earn digital and physical badges by completing designated off-road trails. Participants can download the Jeep Badge of Honor app to discover new trails and connect with a passionate community of fellow off-roaders and Jeep enthusiasts. The recent Jurassic Park-themed badge release is a clear example of how deeply customers connect with the program and how eager they are to compete. In just 24 hours, more than 10,000 badges were claimed, nearly 40,000 Instagram story views were recorded, 5,000 new members joined the Badge of Honor platform and more than 100 community posts were generated in the Jeep Badge of Honor Facebook group. This surge in activity highlights the strong engagement and pride Jeep owners feel in earning and displaying their badges.
The six new challenges, including a subset of trails or activities, are:
- Month Streaker – Complete at least one trail per month for six consecutive months
- Marathoner – Conquer 26 unique trails
- Trail Titan – Complete every Core Jeep Badge of Honor Trail
- Explorer Extraordinaire – Finish 10 unique trails
- Digital Detour – Complete any three Digital Trails
- Moab Marvel – Complete all Badge of Honor trails in Moab, Utah

The app’s trail maps have been redesigned to be more user friendly and to provide a filter for completed trails. Displayed information includes difficulty and user ratings, distance from their location, and where the trail is. Jeep did not provide photography of any of these features.

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest Mopar site (Allpar) in 1994. After a chemo-induced 2007-2010 break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales (Chrysler history and “permanent” car and truck pages). He most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the marque.
