In September, Stellantis México sold 6,367 vehicles, which appears to be a drop from September 2024 despite a record for Dodge. One problem for Mopar followers is that most of the popular Stellantis vehicles in México are made by European or Chinese marques and only resold under local labels.
Ram was the top seller with 1,783 sales, over half of which (1,031) were Fiat-based Ram 700s; the Ram 1200 was most of the rest, with 510 sales. “True Rams,” the Heavy Duty and 1500, sold 140 and 95 trucks respectively.
Dodge had its best September since 2018 and its best month of 2025 with 1,646 sales, most of which were the Trumpchi-based Journey, with 1,168 sales. The Attitude had 499, and the only “true Dodge,” the Durango, had just 15, which means it sold worse than the Alfa Romeo Tonale.
Jeep had 1,054 sales, 235 of which were Renegades and 232 of which were Mexican-made Compasses. The Wrangler checked in with 200, the Commander with 130, and the JT (Gladiator) with 108; the Grand Cherokee had 132 sales and the Wagoneer, 17.
Peugeot blasted past Jeep with 1,575 sales, around a quarter of which were Rifters.
Alfa Romeo had just 27 sales, less than 10% of Fiat’s 282, dominated by the Pulse (166 sales).

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest Mopar site (Allpar) in 1994. After a chemo-induced 2007-2010 break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales (Chrysler history and “permanent” car and truck pages). He most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the marque.
