The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press named the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX “truck of the year,” the latest in a long line of accolades for the hot pickup. The group narrowed the candidates to four new pickups, and the TRX won a vote to win the award.
The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press is a group of auto writers from Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The Ram TRX is a Hellcat-powered truck that runs 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, a speed once shown only by the hottest of sports cars, with a 12.9 second quarter mile time. Despite this, it has a highly durable, capable, and custom suspension engineered for off-road rigors. Ground clearance is 11.8 inches.
