Jeep Issues 2023 Moab Easter Safari Concept Teaser Images

The 57th Easter Jeep Safari will be held on April 1-9 in Moab, Utah, and as is always the case, the Trail Rated brand will introduce a spread of new off-road-ready concept vehicles. Leading up to the massive off-road festival in Utah, the brand will tease these concept vehicles with a series of artwork. With each new batch of teaser images comes a press release, but they are very brief and provide very little information.

The first press release teasing the 2023 Moab Easter Jeep Safari models included the following information.

“Just when you thought the Jeep brand couldn’t push the limits any farther, an entirely new collection of eye-catching, mission-capable concept vehicles will be unveiled and driven aggressively during the annual event. The Jeep brand and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar design teams are bringing their A game to create several one-of-a-kind, rock-crawling, terrain-traversing vehicles that will take four-wheeling to the next level and prove why there’s nothing quite like legendary Jeep 4×4 capability.

Several “trail markers” leading up to the event will provide clues for what’s in store for this year’s Easter Jeep Safari lineup. The first Jeep and JPP sketches hot off the drawing table hint at two of the new concept vehicles, including one 4xe electrified Jeep SUV set to conquer Moab’s tumultuous backcountry trails in absolute silence and further highlight the Jeep brand’s vision of accomplishing Zero Emission Freedom.”

That information was accompanied by the two images shown above.

The first image appears to be a Wrangler pickup or Gladiator that has been converted into a two-door model with no doors, but the bed design appears to be very different from a production Gladiator. The second image shows a four-door Jeep, but it is hard to tell whether it is a Wrangler Unlimited or a Gladiator. We can see the Rubicon logo on the hood and the JPP tube doors, along with fender flares and tires that look much bigger than anything that comes from the factory. This model also appears to be lifted with something extending off of the rear of the passenger compartment.

The second press release teasing the Moab Jeep concept vehicles was even shorter.

“The trail continues! When it comes to legendary electrified off-road capability, unapologetic color palettes and powerful platforms for any adventure, what comes to mind? These collective themes hint at the next grouping of the Jeep brand and Jeep Performance Parts by Mopar concept sketches of mission-capable vehicles heading to the 57th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, April 1-9, 2023.”

That paragraph was accompanied by the third, fourth and fifth images on this page.

The first is clearly a Jeep Wagoneer with a winch fairlead plate on the front bumper, but we can’t see much else from the one image. The second is either a Wrangler or Gladiator that appears to be charging through the mud and the third appears to be a Wrangler 4xe with custom flares and bigger tires – but we are confident that all of these vehicles have far more upgrades than we can see in these images.

With the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab still a few weeks away, we could see more teasers, but if nothing else, we will know all about the latest off-road concepts early next month.
