Ram’s updates for 2024 are out

With the Ram 1500 and possible ProMaster and ProMaster City due for replacement in 2025, Ram’s upgrades for 2024 are relatively minimal.

Ram chassis cabs appear to have had no actual changes, keeping their 6.4 liter gasoline Hemi and 6.7 liter Cummins B-engine options intact. Ram 3500 Chassis Cab has the eight-speed automatic with the gasoline engine, a unique setup.  Some models have 12-inch touch-screen displays.

Changes to the Ram TRX have already been covered. The Tradesman Warlock returns enhanced off-road features—rear locking differential, skid plates, 1-inch raised ride height, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, and Bilstein shock absorbers.  The Ram 1500 also has a tailgate ajar warning lamp standard on all models.

The Ram 2500 and 3500 carry over from 2023 unchanged except for a standard tailgate ajar warning lamp.

Finally, the Ram ProMaster now has an optional heated steering wheel and windshield. New safety features are ParkSense (with stop), white-noise backup alarm, and beep-beep backup alarm. As previously announced, a battery-electric Ram ProMaster is due later this year.
