A woman listed as “missing” with the police was found under water, protected by a Jeep Wrangler.
A fisherman in Marion County, Texas, reported a submerged vehicle around forty feet from a boat ramp to the sheriff’s office. The dispatcher sent deputies and a tow truck, and as the operators were preparing to fish the Jeep out of the water, they discovered a person moving inside. She had been missing for two days.
It seems likely the roof of the Jeep was above water, as shown in the photos, which would allow for a fresh air supply via the manually-cranked windows common to many Wranglers.
