If you are Christmas shopping for the Mopar lover in your life, but you aren’t sure what to get him or her, you are in luck. Mopar issued a press release yesterday, offering some ideas for Ram, Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler-themed gifts ranging from an ugly sweater and other apparel to a Ram bar or a lift kit for the Wrangler 4xe – the first factory-offered lift kit for a hybrid vehicle in the United States.
Really, if you need a long list of gift ideas for a Mopar lover, the Wear Mopar website has scores of non-vehicle related options while the traditional Mopar website has upgrades for every vehicle in the current company lineup. However, the company highlighted a few things from each brand– including some new, limited edition items – and today we take a look at what Mopar suggests for Christmas 2021.
Christmas Themed Items
First up, WearMopar.com has an assortment of actual Christmas-themed items, starting with the latest ugly sweater. Mopar and Dodge have had a few ugly sweaters over the past few years, all of which sold out quickly. For 2021, the ugly Christmas sweater is white and blue, with plenty of Mopar logos, Hellephant logos, some random clip art items such as pistons and checkered flags and the phrase “Mopar or No Car” (shown above). It appears as though the small sweater has already sold out at $66.95, so if you want one of these, you should order quickly.
If the person you are shopping for isn’t into ugly sweaters, there is also a hooded sweatshirt with a Dodge Challenger Drag Pak under a Christmas tree, which happens to be decorated like a drag strip Christmas tree. This shirt is $49.95.
Oddly, Mopar doesn’t seem to be offering any Christmas tree ornaments this year, but in addition to the two shirts listed above, WearMopar has a ton of other shirts, jackets and hats for men, women and children that are not specifically Christmas-themed. They also have face masks for those folks who want to share their Mopar enthusiasm while being required to wear a mask at work.
Finally, in addition to clothing, WearMopar has branded cups, coolers, phone chargers, tents, keychains and much, much more. If you use the discount code “FREEDEC75” and spend more than $75, shipping is free through the end of the year.
Vehicle Upgrades for Christmas
In addition to sharing the ugly sweater above, Mopar highlighted a few upgrades for various Stellantis vehicles.
For the Dodge Challenger, Mopar recommends a front strut tower brace at $375 while Charger owners may like the $395 fitted vehicle cover.
For Chrysler Pacifica owners who have a dog in the family, Mopar offers a soft-sided pet kennel for $190 that fits easily into the rear cargo area, folding flat when not in use.
Mopar offers many items for the Ram lineup, but for this holiday season, the company focused on the bed step and the RamBar. Both of these items are available as optional equipment on different Ram trim levels, but if you are shopping for someone with a newer Ram truck without them, both of these items can be easily installed.
Finally, Jeeps are the most accessorized vehicles in the United States, so while Mopar has Jeep items, the Trail Rated brand has its own internal aftermarket website. Jeep Performance Parts – or JPP – offers a long list of upgrades for every model, but if you are shopping for a Wrangler owner, the options are nearly unlimited. For the 2021 Christmas season, the company highlighted the JPP interior grab handles ($40.35), the Jeep beadlock capable wheels ($395 each) and the JPP Wrangler 4xe lift kit ($1,495).
The Wrangler 4xe has quickly become the bestselling plug-in hybrid in North America. Seeing the popularity of the 4xe package and the general popularity of the Wrangler, Mopar introduced a 2-inch lift kit specifically for the hybrid SUV. This is the first lift kit offered for a hybrid vehicle by the manufacturer in the North American market and it comes with everything needed to elevate a 4xe model – along with a cool, reusable crate.
