When we brought you the information on the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 from the live debut in Las Vegas, we only talked about the MSRP (retail price), which is $96,666 for the United States. Today, we bring you the official prices for all of the options from Dodge, many of which are relatively unchanged from the other 2023 Dodge Challenger models. There have been other numbers being shared around social media, but those sources (as usual) cite incorrect numbers. These are the official, correct prices for the Demon 170 options from the Dodge ordering system – not numbers found randomly on the internet.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is available in 14 exterior colors – White Knuckle, Pitch Black, Granite, Destroyer Grey, Triple Nickle, TorRed, Octane Red, Sinamon Stick, Go Mango, F8 Green, Sublime, B5 Blue, Frostbite and Plum Crazy. White Knuckle, Pitch Black and TorRed can be chosen with no additional charge. Go Mango, Octane Red, Sinamon Stick and Sublime each cost $395 and the rest are $95.
Adding the Satin Black painted center section of the hood costs $1,995 and the full Satin Black treatment (hood, roof and trunk lid) costs $3,695. All of these exterior color-based options are unchanged from the other 2023 Dodge Challenger models. The other key exterior option is the carbon fiber wheel package, which costs $11,495, but even with the big price, I would bet that these lightweight rollers have a high take rate.
On the inside, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 comes with a single houndstooth cloth seat, but you can order a full cloth interior (adding the passenger seat, rear seat and seat belt assemblies) for $1,995. If you want a black Alcantara/leather interior or Demonic Red Laguna leather, you can add the Premium Group for $5,995. However, the Premium Group is way more than just premium heated/cooled seating – adding items like the 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a suede headliner, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, suede door trim panels, rain sensing wipers and more.
Adding Demonic Red seat belts costs $395, the Trunk Dress kit costs $295 and the GPS Navigation system costs $995. The Power Sunroof is the biggest anomaly from the other Challenger models, carrying a price tag of $9,995. If you get your Demon 170 with the Premium Group, you can opt to have the rear seat deleted or free.
Destination on every other 2023 Dodge Challenger is $1,595, so we suspect that will remain unchanged for the SRT Demon 170. Finally, the Gas Guzzler Tax for the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is $2,100, just like the SRT Super Stock models.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 officially went on sale yesterday (March 27), but it seems that an issue with the computer system prevented most people from placing their orders. Fortunately, the system seems to be up and running today, and Demon 170 orders appearing to be going through.
