Last week’s recalls covered several automakers, but Stellantis did not have any entries. Two weeks ago, Ram and Jeep had one recall each. This past week, Mazda recalled 2024-25 forward cameras in the CX30, CX50, and 3; Volkswagen brought back 2021-24 ID.4 electrics because the doors may open for no clear reason; and Porsche had the wrong headlight software in the 2024 Taycan.

After a chemo-induced 2007-2010 break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales (Chrysler history and “permanent” car and truck pages). He most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the marque.
