Honda had a bad recall week; Mopar had none

Honda is going to be having a rough time replacing airbags, as a wide variety of Acuras and Hondas are being recalled because the airbag may deploy unintentionally during a class. The recall covers 2020-22 cars including the Acura MDX, RDX, and TLX; and the Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, Fit, HR-V, Insight, Odyssey, Passport, Pilot, and Ridgeline.

2022 Chevrolet SilveradoThis is a Mopar site—we don’t have a lot of stock Silverado photos. The recall only affected the 2500 and 3500. 

GM had to recall Silverado and Sierra heavy duty pickups (2020-24) because the tailgate may open while driving; 323,232 pickups in the US alone will need to have the exterior touchpad switch assemblies replaced. The recall only affects power unlatching tailgates.

Hyundai has a possible loss of drive power from faulty driveshafts in the Genesis GV60 and the electric Ioniq 5 and 6, all 2023 models.

Mercedes is recalling a various GL models from 2019-22 to re-aim the headlights, and Nissan is bringing back the 2018-22 Leaf to make the rear view image show properly; and Kia is recalling the 2024 Telluride because engine valve-springs may break.

Stellantis has not had a single American recall for some weeks.
